Steps
- In a bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add the flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture and mix until the dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a round shape on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly on the dough.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, then add your favorite toppings.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
